How it works
How we tint your Tesla
We fit Union film to the side windows, the back glass and, if you want it, the glass roof. Each piece is cut to that model’s glass and fitted on the inside of the glass.

How dark can you tint a Tesla in North Carolina?
Model 3 and Model S are cars: their side and back windows can go to 35%. Model Y, Model X and Cybertruck count as multipurpose vehicles, so the windows behind the driver can be any shade. The front side windows are 35% on every model.

The front side windows can be 35% or lighter. Because the Model Y counts as a multipurpose vehicle, the rear side windows and back glass can be any shade.
